Journal Entry 09-7-11

So we headed back to Tennessee today. It was cold and rainy. =( And so....I guess I have to go to school tomorrow. I am sad =(

Journal Entry 09-6-11

Today I tried to surf. Well...It didn't go to well. So I just built sand castles. Once we got packed up and ready to go to San Diego....My sister wanted to go to the aquarium. So we turned in the parking lot and there it was! It was HUGE! So we got tickets and headed inside where we saw ALL kinds of fishes!! I even mocked one who was staring at me with a mean eye! =) He didn't see it coming! Then we headed to San Diego and got our hotel room! So we leave tomorrow....I am sad. =(

Journal Entry 09-5-11

Today was COLD! I mean, I thought we were in California! So me and my dad went out from surfing and will probably go tomorrow. But today I just practiced standing up on it in the pool and then down at the lagoon. At the lagoon there was flying fish! Well, not flying, Just jumping out of the water.

Journal Entry 09-4-11

Sadly, We had to leave Disney Land today. :( So we drove the 45 minutes and finally arrived back at the house. We all unpacked and headed out to eat... I ate a very good bean burrito... and then ate frozen yogurt (Pretty sure its just ice-cream). And then finally, FINALLY, I got my surfboard! So we headed back to the house and my sister and I swam till it was dark!

So after driving 45 minutes, we are finally in LA. We took the shuttle to Disney Land, where we got my mom and dad's race packets. Then we went shopping and I got a pair of Sanuk's. I think Its bed time!!!

At my FAVORITE restraunt in Cali....The Village Kitchen and Pie Shoppe! They have the best pie EVER. My favorite pie is the Snickers Pie. We usually come here for breakfast and dinner. Either way, we always walk home with a big piece of pie! =D

Journal Entry 09-2-11

What a long day it has been! The fam had to wake up at 5:30 to catch our 1st plane. The 1st plane was only 30 minutes (Nashville to Atlanta). The second plane, though, was 4 HOURS! Oh, It was soooo tiring. Finally though, we picked out our luggage and headed to Carlsbad. As soon as we got to our Godfather's house, we unpacked our stuff and rushed to the beach.... but boy, was it COLD! I still swam though! So finally were all settling down for a family dinner and I've never had a bigger smile....EVER!!!

I am soooo excited! Our plane leaves tomorrow at 7:45 a.m. Soon I will be smelling sea salt, and watch the tumbling waves. So that's really it! EEP! (Again, sooo excited)
